Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.All patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation; 2.Pathological classification of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation: Bulging type; Protruding type; Prolapse type; Free type; 3.All patients meeting the surgical indications in the "diagnosis and treatment guidelines for lumbar disc herniation"; 4.Open operation for lumbar disc herniation: lumbar disc replacement, lumbar disc fusion, standard discectomy, endoscopic discectomy, microscopic resection of nucleus pulposus; 5.Aged18 to 70 years, male or female; 6.The patient must be informed and consent to the treatment, and read and sign the informed consent prior to the treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with serious dysfunction of solid organs; 2.Patients with traumatic injuey, infection or malignant disease of the spine; 3.Pregnant and lactating women; 4.Patients with mental abnormalities that unable to complete the treatment; 5.Unexplained weight loss or fever; 6.Contraindications of acupuncture and moxibustion: bleeding and coagulation disorders (e.g. hemophilia or advanced liver disease); Patients using warfarin; Local skin infection or local skin burn; 7.Bone and joint complications or injuries requiring re-hospitalization after surgery; 8.A history of mental illness.
