Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. children met the diagnostic criteria of upper respiratory tract infection and diarrhea as outlined in the 17th edition of the Nelson Textbook of Pediatrics; 2. children had diarrhea lasting for more than 1 day and that required medical treatment; 3. according to the conditions of approval mandated by the Hospital Ethics Committee, the children and their family members all signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. children had severe diseases of the respiratory system, nervous system, or urinary system; 2. children had systemic infection or infections on other sites; 3. children had poor mental status or treatment compliance and could not cooperate with others.
