Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Orotracheal intubation with invasive mechanical ventilation and the ventilation time is expected to exceed 3 days; 2. Aged 18 to 90 years; 3. No contraindications to acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and rehabilitation exercises; 4. The legal guardian or authorized principal signs the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Known neuromuscular disease or respiratory disease; 2. Restrictive diaphragmatic movement disorders such as unresolved pneumothorax, abdominal hypertension, and massive ascites; 3. Chest, rib deformity, rib fracture, lower extremity fracture or amputation; 4. Ultrasound to observe local skin damage and infection sites; 5. Local skin damage and acupoint infection; 6. Temporary and permanent pacemaker indwelling; 7. Various reasons (severe intestinal gas, structural abnormalities) lead to the inability of ultrasound to detect diaphragm movement.
