Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 to 70 years; 2. The clinical manifestations and EEG changes of the patients were in line with the 2017 epilepsy diagnostic criteria formulated by the International Anti-Epilepsy Union (ILAE), and epilepsy was classified; 3. Antiepileptic drugs remained unchanged in the two groups; 4. According to the relevant diagnostic points of depression and anxiety in the 10th edition of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), one professional neurologist and one psychiatrist respectively completed the relevant scale, with CNDDIE score of > 12 points and GAD-7 score of > 6 points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Epileptic status or non-epileptic seizure; 2. Patients with severe depression or suicidal tendencies; 3. Previous depression and anxiety, history and family history of mental illness, severe mental illness or being under treatment; 4. Pregnant or lactating women; 5. Patients who have taken anti-depressant and anxiety-related drugs or are allergic to the two intervention drugs used in this study within the last 2 weeks.
