Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 18–75 years, any gender; (2) Diagnosed with CCS by both Western and TCM criteria; (3) Mild-to-moderate anxiety or depression (5 = GAD-7/PHQ-9 total score < 14); (4) Stable condition, good adherence, able to follow up; (5) No psychoactive medication use within the past month; (6) Willing to participate and sign informed consent (self or via legal guardian).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe medical conditions: acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock, malignant arrhythmia, high-grade AV block, obstructive cardiomyopathy, epilepsy, acute cerebrovascular disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, progressive severe infection, malignancy, hematological disease, severe liver/kidney dysfunction, etc.; (2) GAD-7 > 14 or PHQ-9 = 14; (3) Severe anxiety with mania requiring oral psychoactive medication; (4) History of psychosis, severe cognitive impairment, inability to communicate or cooperate; (5) Needle phobia, intolerance to acupuncture, or refusal to receive Balance Acupuncture; (6) Local skin lesions at acupuncture sites (e.g., scarring, ulceration, redness, swelling, or infection); (7) Currently participating in another clinical trial or receiving other treatments for this disease outside the protocol; (8) Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
