Terminal-stage malignant tumors

Interventions

Treatment Group:Participants receive an integrated TCM regimen combined with standard palliative care. The TCM component comprises =2 of the following six modalities, individualized by syndrome differ
(2) TCM injections-Kanglaite or Astragalus injection via IV drip, once daily for 21 days per course
(3) Acupuncture-main points Shangwan (CV13), Zhongwan (CV12), Xiawan (CV10), Qihai (CV6), Tianshu (ST25, bilateral), Neiguan (PC6, bilateral), Zusanli (ST36, bilateral), with Dazhui (GV14), Geshu (BL1
(4) Moxibustion-same abdominal points plus bilateral Zusanli (ST36), ~30 minutes/session, 5 sessions/week
(5) Acupoint plaster-hospital-formulated Pain, Ascites, or Gastroparesis plasters applied for 4 hours daily, 5 sessions/week
(6) Auricular acupressure-Heart, Lung, Liver, Spleen-Stomach, Sanjiao, Shenmen, once daily, 5 sessions/week. Treatment duration: 4 weeks
follow-up: 12 weeks. Standard palliative care includes voluntary family meetings, environmental care, psychological and death counseling, and nutritional support.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for malignant tumors (referring to the "Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Series of Malignant Tumors" published by People's Medical Publishing House, 2011);(2) Age = 18 years;(3) Estimated survival of 3-6 months (assessed by attending physician or principal investigator based on clinical experience and validated prognostic tools: PPS, PPI, or KPS = 50; results documented in case report form and confirmed by at least two investigators);(4) Patient too frail to continue anti-cancer treatment, or patient refuses further anti-cancer treatment;(5) No psychiatric disorders or consciousness impairment, able to communicate normally;(6) Voluntary participation with good compliance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with psychiatric disorders;(2) Patients with severe cognitive impairment unable to cooperate with the study;(3) Currently participating in other interventional clinical studies
