Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Age: 18-65 years old, first-time or primary patients. b. Meet the diagnostic criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). c. Total score of HAMD-17 scale at enrollment >24 points. d. Nightmare Severity Index >10 points; e. Stable disease control, with no changes in treatment regimen in the month prior to enrollment; f. Signed informed consent and volunteered to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Individuals with severe suicidal tendencies. b. Depressive episodes secondary to other mental illnesses or physical diseases. c. Individuals with severe comorbidities in other systems, as well as those with heart, liver, and kidney dysfunction. d. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those planning to become pregnant. e. Known alcoholics or drug addicts. f. Patients with glaucoma and epilepsy. g. Individuals who are unsupervised or unable to complete clinical trials. h. Individuals with implanted metal devices in the brain (excluding titanium), artificial cochlear implants, pulse generators, cardiac pacemakers, and other internal metal implants. i. Individuals with increased risk of inducing epilepsy: those with a history of epilepsy, sleep deprivation, or alcohol dependence.
