Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for KOA in Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine; (2) Age between 40 and 75 years; (3) According to the knee joint Kellgren/Lawrence grading criteria, radiographic X-ray grading is I~III; (4) No prior practice of Tai Chi exercise; (5) Disease duration within 10 years, but not during the pain flare-up period, and the patient is conscious, able to understand and complete the questionnaire; (6) Voluntarily participates in this trial and signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Skin in the lesion area has ulceration, infection, or other conditions unsuitable for acupuncture treatment; (2) Knee issues caused by other conditions; (3) Severe cardiovascular diseases, severe infections, mental disorders, malignancies, or other serious comorbidities; (4) Received other treatments within the past month, which may affect the evaluation of therapeutic effects; (5) Patients who have undergone knee joint surgery.
