Ling's Acupuncture Plus Medicine Group Selected Points:Bilateral Neiguan (PC6), Quchi (LI11), Zusanli (ST36), Taichong (LR3), Jiashu (BL23) (T5, T9, L2), and 0.5 cun lateral to C4-6. Dan Zhen Headache
Conventional acupuncture combined with medication group selection of acupoints:Bilateral Neiguan (), Quchi (), Zusanli (), and Taichong (). Danzhen Headache Capsules (0.5g) 4 tablets each time, 3 time
Medication-only treatment group:Danzhen Headache Capsules (0.5g) - take 4 capsules each time, 3 times a day. Total treatment duration: 1 month.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Must meet both TCM anddiagnosis criteria simultaneously. (1)diagnosis criteria: Meets the diagnostic criteria for Stage 1 Hypertension, Low-Risk Type. (2)diagnosis criteria: Meets the diagnostic criteria for Liver Yang Rising Hypertension. (3) Age between 30 to 60 years old. (4) Agree and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with hypertension-mediated organ damage (HMOD) and cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stage 3 or above, as well as other chronic diseases like diabetes. Patients with abnormal liver and kidney function, hematopoietic system disorders, or severe primary diseases are also excluded. (2) Pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with allergic constitutions, or those with a history of allergies. (3) Patients with secondary hypertension. (4) Patients who have taken medications affecting blood pressure within the past three months. (5) Patients currently using other blood pressure control methods, such as traditional Chinese medicine external therapies: acupoint application, foot baths, cupping, etc. (6) Patients who have taken Western medicine or other Chinese herbal medications. (7) Patients with a fear of needles, intolerance to Danshen headache capsules, or allergies to them. (8) Patients with mental abnormalities or unwilling to cooperate; patients with poor compliance, who discontinued treatment before completing the required observation period, making it impossible to assess efficacy.
