Treatment group:Tibetan medical moxibustion (using Tibetan medicinal moxa stick)
Control group:Traditional Chinese Medicine mild moxibustion (moxibustion with ordinary moxa stick)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1) Age between 18 and 75 years, meeting the above-mentioned diagnostic criteria and the Chinese/Tibetan medicine pattern diagnostic criteria (Cold Attacking Meridians pattern or Phlegm and Blood Stasis Blocking Collaterals pattern); 2) Duration of sciatica pain = 3 months; 3) VAS pain score = 4 points (moderate or higher pain intensity); 4) Willing to sign the informed consent form, able to cooperate with examinations, treatment, and follow-up during the study, with good compliance; 5) No contraindications to moxibustion, able to complete moxibustion treatment and all follow-up assessments as required.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: 1) Sciatica secondary to diseases such as bone tumors, bone tuberculosis, fractures, or severe lumbar spondylolisthesis; 2) Concurrent severe complications including lower limb paralysis, severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, or liver/kidney dysfunction; 3) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 4) Concurrent cauda equina nerve injury or progressive peripheral nerve injury; 5) Mental disorders or poor compliance, inability to cooperate with evaluators' assessments; 6) Received hormone therapy or surgical treatment within the past month; 7) Contraindications to moxibustion, such as skin breakdown, diabetic neuropathy, etc.; 8) Currently participating in other clinical trials; 9) Allergic to moxa wool or Tibetan medicinal ingredients.
