Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 18 to 75 years; (2) Diagnosed with stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic); (3) Clinically stable and in the rehabilitation period (more than 7 days after onset); (4) Diagnosed with functional constipation, defined as no spontaneous bowel movement (SBM) within 72 hours before screening
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Known mechanical intestinal obstruction or megacolon; (2) Severe and uncontrolled systemic diseases (such as heart failure, liver failure, or renal failure); (3) Pregnancy or breastfeeding; (4) Unstable dosage of opioids or other drugs known to severely impair intestinal motility (persistently unstable for at least 7 days); (5) Unable to provide informed consent; (6) Participation in other interventional clinical trials within the past 3 months.
