Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged between 18 and 75 years old (2) Classify as American Society of Anesthesiologists grade I-III (3) Clinically diagnose colorectal cancer I-III according to the 8th Edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer Staging Manual (4) Schedule for elective first-time laparoscopic segmental resection of the colorectal with primary anastomosis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 A history of abdominal surgery 2 Palliative or emergency surgical procedures, epidural anesthesia in surgery, or enterostomy 3 Undergo combined resection of other organs 4 Conversion from laparoscopic to open surgery 5 Occurrence of major intraoperative complications, such as anastomotic leakage or bleeding 6 Diagnosis of major cardiac, hepatic, renal, or psychiatric disease 7 Receive auricular acupressure within a month 8 Transfer to the intensive care unit postoperatively 9 Auricular acupressure within a month 10 Presented with auricular dermatological conditions precluding auricular acupressure treatment.
