18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosed with rotator cuff injury based on symptoms, signs, and shoulder MRI; (2) No restrictions on age or gender; (3) No surgical indications; (4) Voluntary signing of informed consent. Note: Participants must meet all four criteria to be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Comorbid severe primary diseases in cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, or hematopoietic systems; (2) Massive rotator cuff tears or patients requiring surgical intervention; (3) Concurrent upper limb fractures or other injuries; (4) Emotional/psychiatric disorders or poor compliance affecting treatment completion; (5) Congenital shoulder diseases or prior shoulder surgery; (6) Contraindications for MRI examination; (7) Needle phobia or intolerance to acupuncture pain; (8) Psychiatric disorders or dementia; (9) Participation in other clinical trials within 3 months. Note: Exclusion applies if any single criterion is met.
