Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients diagnosed with functional dyspepsia in children or functional dyspepsia syndrome in infants and young children; (2) Age 1-14 years (=14 years), no gender restrictions; (3) Informed consent must be obtained from the legal guardian(s) of the participant, who must voluntarily sign the informed consent form; when the participant is capable of understanding the clinical study, their own consent must also be obtained. Any individual not meeting the above criteria shall not be enrolled as a participant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria (meeting any of the following): (1) Dyspepsia caused by organic diseases, such as acute/chronic gastroenteritis, peptic ulcer, history of gastrointestinal surgery, acute/chronic hepatitis, anorexia nervosa, or drug-induced anorexia; (2) Severe malnutrition or immunodeficiency; (3) Severe primary diseases in cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, hepatobiliary, or urinary systems; (4) Mental disorders, intellectual disabilities, and/or communication barriers; (5) Participants deemed by investigators to be at high risk of loss to follow-up;
