Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis; (2) Aged between 50 and 75 years; (3) Knee X-ray Kellgren/Lawrence (K/L) grading of 1-3; (4) Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis classified as either "Liver-Kidney Deficiency Syndrome" or "Cold-Damp Obstruction Syndrome"; (5) Voluntarily participates in this study and signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Individuals currently suffering from acute infectious diseases; those with obvious acute infectious symptoms within the past two weeks; (2) Individuals with clear clinical diagnoses of dysfunction in important organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys, which make them unable to tolerate exercise testing and training; (3) Individuals with diseases affecting movement control and gait patterns, including but not limited to: stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diseases; diagnosed cognitive impairments that prevent understanding or cooperation in training and assessments; severe vestibular dysfunction and balance disorders; (4) Individuals with any of the following musculoskeletal system diseases: lower limb fractures or severe soft tissue injuries within the past 6 months; inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis; severe hip or ankle degenerative changes significantly affecting gait; obvious joint deformities or structural abnormalities causing abnormal movement patterns; (5) Individuals who have undergone knee intra-articular steroid (hormone) injections within the past 3 months; individuals who have undergone arthroscopic surgery within the past 3 months; individuals who have undergone knee intra-articular hyaluronic acid injections within the past 6 months; individuals planning knee arthroplasty within the next 12 months; (6) Individuals currently participating in other clinical trials that may affect the evaluation of the primary outcome measures of this study; individuals undergoing other systemic rehabilitation training programs (not part of this study's protocol); (7) Individuals with a high risk of falling, such as: multiple falls within the past 6 months, inability to independently walk on flat ground for =8 meters; obvious joint mobility restrictions preventing completion of basic training assessment; inability to cooperate in assessments, training, and testing due to mental, psychological, language, or other reasons; individuals deemed by the investigator to have safety risks or insufficient compliance, making participation in the study unsuitable.
