40 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 40-75 years, diagnosed with early to moderate KOA (Kellgren-Lawrence grade I-III); (2) Presence of knee pain (VAS =4) and dysfunction (WOMAC total score =25); (3) No severe cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diseases or exercise contraindications.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Recent knee surgery or intra-articular injection therapy; (2) Recent acupuncture treatment; (3) Recent use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; (4) Comorbid secondary joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or gouty arthritis; (5) Patients with deep vein thrombosis; (6) Patients with significant knee effusion or varus/valgus deformity.
