Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals aged between 18 and 65 years. 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for obesity and the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) criteria for dampness syndrome. 3.Those with relatively stable eating habits, no particular dietary preferences, and no serious bad habits such as long-term heavy smoking, excessive drinking, drug abuse, etc. in the past five years; 4. No acupuncture treatment within the past three months. 5. Patients with metabolic disorders who have had stable disease status while under medication management within the last three months. 6. Voluntary participation in the study with the provision of signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with concurrent acute infectious diseases. 2. Those with severe impairment of hepatic or renal function cardiac diseases respiratory diseases and the presence of malignant tumors. 3. Patients with metabolic disorders whose medication has been ineffective within the last three months or who have experienced severe complications. 4. Individuals with psychiatric or emotional disorders who are unable to cooperate with the study requirements. 5. Pregnant women those in the postpartum period women who are breastfeeding and patients in the perioperative period.
