20 Years to 45 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for primary premature ejaculation as defined by the European Association of Urology guidelines; (2) Aged between 20 and 45 years; (3) Heterosexual and right-handed. Has had a stable heterosexual partner and regular sexual activity over the past 3 months and during this study; (4) Frequency of penile-vaginal intercourse = 1 time per week, more than 6 times per month; (5) premature ejaculation diagnostic tool (PEDT) score = 11; (6) International Index of Erectile Function 5 (IIEF-5) score = 21, with normal erectile function; (7) Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17) score = 8; (8) Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA) score = 7; (9) Signed informed consent form, agreeing to participate in this clinical trial, with good compliance.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Organic factors contributing to premature ejaculation, such as anatomical abnormalities of the reproductive organs, urogenital infections, and chronic inflammation; (2) Suffering from other forms of sexual dysfunction or having a sexual partner with sexual dysfunction; (3) Concurrent endocrine system disorders, such as diabetes or hyperthyroidism; (4) Concurrent neurological disorders; (5) Concurrent severe, life-threatening primary diseases affecting the cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, or renal systems; (6) Alcohol abuse or use of psychotropic medications; (7) History of trauma affecting sexual function; (8) Conditions unsuitable for acupuncture, such as skin diseases or coagulation disorders; (9) Having undergone treatment for premature ejaculation within the past 3 months; (10) Presence of contraindications for functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
