Western medicine plus Chinese medicine group:In the Western medicine group, add the use of Wuteng Shugan Wan treatment.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Meets ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for depression; HAMD 17-item total score =18 points; age between 18 and 60 years old; no history of treatment with glucocorticoids, immunotherapy, anti-inflammatory, or anticoagulant medications within the past month; patient or their family has signed the informed consent form; no history of psychiatric disorders.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of neurological disorders or major somatic diseases; history of alcohol or substance abuse or dependence; risk of seizures: abnormal EEG findings, trauma, idiopathic epilepsy, and use of neuroexcitatory medications; history of manic episodes or family history of bipolar disorder; individuals with severe diseases of the heart, liver, or kidneys; individuals with malignant tumors.
