Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meeting the diagnostic criteria of hyperemesis gravidarum in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. 2) Total PUQE score = 7. 3) Positive urinary ketone bodies. 4) Patients who agree to participate in this clinical study, sign the informed consent form, and can cooperate with the treatment. 5) Pregnant women aged 20–40 years with gestational age less than 14 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Complicated with pregnancy-related disorders, such as pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases during pregnancy, etc. 2) Hydatidiform mole or multiple pregnancy diagnosed by clinical ultrasound and laboratory examinations. 3) Severe mental illness and cognitive impairment that hinder normal communication and treatment. 4) Age over 40 years or under 20 years, and gestational age more than 14 weeks. 5) Patients currently participating in other clinical studies.
