Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) It meets the Western medical diagnostic criteria for isolated vertigo due to post-circulatory ischemia and the traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria for vertigo caused by wind-phlegm ascending to the brain. (2) The main symptoms include rotational dizziness or a feeling of swaying, as well as nausea, vomiting, balance disorders or blurred vision, etc. (3) The age range is from 45 to 90 years old (including 45 years old and 90 years old). (4) The patients voluntarily participated and signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Those who do not meet the above inclusion criteria; (2) Patients with vertigo caused by cerebral hemorrhage, intracranial tumors, and brain trauma, or patients with severe posterior circulation infarction, as confirmed by cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or cranial computed tomography (CT) examination; ; (3) Those who test positive on the cervical vertigo screening test, or the vestibular source screening test, or those with peripheral vertigo such as ear-origin or eye-origin vertigo after physical examination; (4) Those with severe diseases of the circulatory system, digestive system, tumors, blood system, etc.; (5) Pregnant or lactating women; (6) Those with mental disorders such as confusion or dementia who cannot cooperate; (7) Those who have participated or are currently participating in other drug-related clinical trials in the past month; (8) Those who are allergic or fearful of acupuncture needles.
