Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1: Meets the diagnostic criteria of functional constipation, the "qi-yin deficiency" syndrome type in traditional Chinese medicine, and the standards for mild to moderate depression 2: Age range: 18 - 75 years old 3: Have normal comprehension ability and reading/writing skills 4: Sign the informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1: Combining severe functional disorders of the heart, brain, liver, kidneys, blood, endocrine system, and nervous system 2: Currently taking medications that may cause constipation 3: It is clearly evident that there are organic problems and systemic diseases related to constipation. 4: Chinese herbal medicine allergy 5: Women during pregnancy or lactation period 6: Unable to have regular follow-up visits 7: Is currently participating in other clinical studies
