Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Meets CAP criteria: Intrusion into the carotid artery lumen with localized structural changes, at least 0.5 mm or 50% greater than the surrounding carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT), or IMT > 1.5 mm; 2) No gender restrictions, age = 18 years; 3) Voluntarily participates in the study and signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with acute coronary syndrome, severe heart failure, severe arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, or other cardiovascular diseases; 2) Patients in the acute phase of intracerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, or other cerebrovascular diseases; 3) Patients with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, hematologic disorders, malignant tumors, or an expected survival time of less than 1 year; 4) Patients with severe psychological disorders, intellectual disabilities, or language impairments; 5) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6) Patients currently participating in other clinical trials.
