Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Individuals who meet the diagnostic criteria for Type 2 diabetes mellitus and/or chronic complications of T2DM in Western medicine. (2) Individuals who meet the diagnostic criteria for qi and yin deficiency syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine. (3) Individuals aged 20 to 75 years (inclusive), with no restrictions on gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Acute cardiovascular events or myocardial infarction within the past 6 months (2) Proliferative retinopathy requiring laser therapy (3) Individuals in a state of stress or with secondary hyperglycemia (4) Individuals with mental disorders (5) Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and women planning pregnancy or without contraceptive plans (6) Individuals with other severe primary diseases
