40 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 40–75 years; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–III; 3. Scheduled for elective laparoscopic gastrectomy with expected operative time =1.5 hours; 4. Willing to participate and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgery or conversion to open laparotomy; 2. Pre-existing gastrointestinal dysfunction, inflammatory bowel disease, or history of intestinal obstruction; 3. Long-term use of opioids or medications affecting gastrointestinal motility (e.g., calcium channel blockers, anticholinergics) before surgery; 4. Severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal insufficiency (e.g., NYHA class III-IV, Child-Pugh class C, eGFR 1.5 or platelet count <50x10^9/L), or bleeding tendency; 6. Pregnancy or lactation; 7. Known fear or intolerance of acupuncture; 8. History of psychiatric illness or cognitive impairment that may interfere with treatment or assessment.
