Control group:Following radical surgery for colorectal cancer, a standardised care protocol is implemented and disseminated to patients and primary carers in the form of booklets and videos.
Intervention Group 1:In addition to the standard care protocol, the traditional fennel hot compress method shall be administered twice daily, commencing from the first postoperative day.
Intervention Group 2:Building upon the standard care protocol, commencing from the first postoperative day, apply self-adhesive abdominal warming patches containing fennel essential oil to the corresp

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) The patient has primary colorectal cancer according to the NCCN guidelines for pathological diagnosis of colorectal cancer; (2) Age = 18 years; (3) Expected to undergo radical colorectal cancer surgery via laparoscopic, robotic, or open approaches; (4) Possesses normal cognitive and expressive abilities; (5) Voluntarily participates in this study and has signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) classification of III or higher; (2) Concurrent inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, or other intestinal disorders; (3) Psychiatric disorders requiring long-term psychotropic medication; (4) Contraindications for acupoint moxibustion therapy, such as acupoints located at surgical incision sites.
