35 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Participants with manifestations of facial aging; 2) Aged 35 to 55 years old with good communication ability; 3) No other treatments including acupuncture or medical cosmetic procedures received within 1 month prior to this study; 4) Voluntarily participating in this study with good compliance; 5) No weight loss plan during the treatment period, with no significant weight change or a weight change = 5%; 6) Being familiar with the study protocol and signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant or lactating women; 2) Patients with active skin diseases on the face (with skin lesions or in the acute inflammatory stage), including herpes, eczema, allergic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, etc.; 3) Patients with bleeding tendencies or coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, congenital coagulation factor deficiency, etc.; 4) Patients with abnormal liver function, with alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) or total bilirubin (TBil) > 1.5 times the upper limit of normal (ULN); 5) Patients with a history of bloodborne or contact-transmissible infectious diseases such as hepatitis B and hepatitis C; 6) Patients with severe metal allergy or acupuncture syncope; 7) Patients with severe mental illnesses (including moderate to severe anxiety disorder, depression, schizophrenia, etc.) who are unable to comply with the study procedures; 8) Patients with uncontrolled organic lesions in vital organs such as heart, liver and brain; or diabetic patients with poor glycemic control (fasting blood glucose > 7.0 mmol/L or HbA1c > 7.5%); 9) Patients who have taken anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs regularly in the recent 2 weeks (such as warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel, etc.); 10) Patients who have received acupuncture therapy for other conditions in the recent 1 month, or participated in other clinical intervention studies simultaneously.
