Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Those who meet the diagnostic criteria for post-stroke dysphagia as defined by Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine; patients who have shown dysphagia through videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS); those whose current diet is restricted and Water Swallowing Test score is above level II; those who have a MMSE score of 24 or above, can understand and follow the simple instructions of the medical staff, have relatively good cognitive abilities, can cooperate and are willing to undergo examinations and treatments; aged between 35 and 70 years old, regardless of gender; in the recovery period of stroke, with the onset occurring 2 weeks to within half a year; with clear consciousness and stable vital signs; without severe complications, willing to accept acupuncture treatment and have good compliance; with the consent of the patient or their family, voluntarily participating in this study, and signing the informed consent form to undergo examinations and treatments by themselves or their legal relatives.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those with swallowing disorders not caused by stroke; pregnant or lactating women; those with complete aphasia or cognitive impairments who cannot cooperate with the study; those with severe primary chronic diseases such as heart, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system and endocrine system disorders; those with various bleeding disorders; those with implanted pacemakers, stents or intracranial metallic objects.
