50 Years to 85 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: (1) Meeting the clinical diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis (KOA); (2) Age = 50 years; (3) Knee pain duration = 3 months; (4) Kellgren-Lawrence (K-L) grade II or III within the past year; (5) Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) score = 4 within the past week; (6) Right-handedness.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: (1) History of arthroscopic treatment within the past year, intra-articular injection within the past 6 months, history of knee arthroplasty, planned knee surgery, or knee pain attributable to other causes; (2) Presence of severe organic diseases, psychiatric or neurological disorders, or coagulation dysfunction; (3) Contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (e.g., claustrophobia, metallic implants); (4) History of acupuncture treatment within the past month; (5) Participation in other clinical trials within the past 3 months.
