Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 18 years; (2) A clear diagnosis of type 2 diabetes from a tertiary Grade A hospital, or meeting the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes based on medical history and laboratory tests; (3) BMI = 24 kg/m²; (4) Complete medical records available, including cardiovascular composite endpoint events, anthropometric indicators, laboratory indicators, and information related to the Four Diagnostic Methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine; (5) A history of cardiovascular composite endpoint events (including cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, stroke, and revascularization).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary obesity (e.g., due to hormone use, endocrine disorders, etc.); (2) Pregnant or lactating women; (3) Individuals with missing key medical records, making it impossible to extract primary indicators.
