Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Observation Group: (1) Age = 18 years; (2) Past medical history includes a diagnosis of diabetes or type 2 diabetes confirmed by a tertiary hospital or based on current medical history and laboratory tests; (3) BMI = 24 kg/m²; (4) History of cardiovascular composite endpoint events (including cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, stroke, and revascularization). Control Group: (1) Age = 18 years; (2) Past medical history includes a diagnosis of diabetes or type 2 diabetes confirmed by a tertiary hospital or based on current medical history and laboratory tests; (3) BMI = 24 kg/m²; (4) No history of cardiovascular composite endpoint events.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary obesity (such as hormone use, endocrine disorders); (2) pregnant women and lactating women.
