Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18 to 85 years; (2) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for stroke according to both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, as well as the diagnostic criteria for post-stroke dysphagia; (3) Scoring between grades 2 and 5 on the Kubota Water Swallow Test; (4) Presenting with clinical manifestations consistent with the oral phase of dysphagia, including drooling, food pocketing in the buccal cavity on the affected side, food lodged against the hard palate, and difficulty in food transport to the pharynx due to reduced or impaired masticatory movement of the tongue during swallowing; (5) Being conscious with clear mental status, and capable of understanding and following simple instructions from the therapist; (6) Voluntarily participating in this study and signing the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with transient ischemic attack or reversible neurological deficit; (2) Dysphagia caused by etiologies other than stroke; (3) Severe primary diseases involving the cardiovascular system, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system, or endocrine system; (4) Patients with psychiatric disorders or those unable to cooperate.
