Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for subthreshold depression;(2) Subjects are aged between 18 and 60 years, with no gender restriction;(3) Score on the 17-item Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-17): 7 = HAMD-17 score < 17;(4) No prior antidepressant medication, and no acupuncture treatment for depression in the past 3 months;(5) Able to actively cooperate with the treatment and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with clinically diagnosed depression, previous mental illness, or organic mental disorders;(2) Patients with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, severe arrhythmia, or cardiac insufficiency;(3) Pregnant or lactating women;(4) Depressive episodes induced by psychoactive substances or non-addictive substances;(5) Patients with suicidal ideation or suicidal behavior;(6) Patients intolerant to acupuncture treatment;(7) Patients with communication barriers or who are uncooperative with the study;(8) Other conditions judged by the investigator to be unsuitable for inclusion in the observation.
