Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Western medicine diagnosis aligns with the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke 2023," and traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis aligns with the "Chinese Guideline for Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment of Cerebral Infarction 2017"; (2) First-ever stroke; (3) Age =18 years; (4) Within 2 weeks of onset with stable vital signs; (5) Muscle strength of the affected upper or lower limb = grade 4; (6) The participant or their legal guardian voluntarily agrees to join this study and has provided signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Neuroimaging indicates the presence of intracranial hemorrhage, infection, or neoplastic lesions; (2) Inability to cooperate with treatment due to psychiatric disorder or cognitive impairment; (3) Presence of skin infections or ulcers at the planned acupuncture sites; (4) Coexisting severe underlying conditions such as coagulopathy, autoimmune diseases, multi-organ failure, or other life-threatening disorders; (5) Women who are pregnant or lactating; (6) Participation in any other clinical trial within the past 3 months.
