Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Western Medicine Diagnostic Criteria: Formulated with reference to the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis in China (2022), revised by the Branch of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Chinese Medical Association. Clinical Manifestations:(1) Presence of 2 or more of the following symptoms: sneezing, watery nasal discharge, nasal itching, and nasal congestion, lasting continuously or cumulatively = 1 hour per day, which may be accompanied by ocular symptoms such as eye itching;(2) A history of severe seasonal rhinitis attacks for = 2 years;(3) Physical signs: pale and edematous nasal mucosa, watery secretions;(4) Allergen testing: positive serum-specific IgE. 2.Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Diagnostic Criteria: Formulated with reference to the Criteria for Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of TCM Diseases and Syndromes (2017). Clinical Manifestations:(1) Main symptoms include frequent sneezing, clear nasal discharge, paroxysmal nasal itching, and nasal congestion; some patients may also experience symptoms such as insomnia, eye itching, and throat itching;(2) Allergic to pollen, smoke, chemical gases, etc., or induced by exposure to cold or hot air stimulation;(3) Pale and swollen nasal mucosa, with the nasal cavity filled with watery secretions. 3.Inclusion Criteria:(1) Meeting the above diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and TCM;(2) Aged = 18 years old;(3) Disease duration = 2 years;(4) Mainly allergic to autumn pollen (such as Artemisia, Ambrosia, etc.) with positive serum sIgE;(5) Volunteers and their family members are informed about this study and have signed the informed consent form;(6) Having independent behavioral ability and independent expression ability.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with perennial allergic rhinitis; 2.Patients in the acute episode of chronic sinusitis; 3.Patients with severe nasal septum deviation (no space in one nasal cavity), nasal masses, or nasal polyps; 4.Patients with uncontrolled or severe diseases, such as persistent pain caused by various reasons, malignant tumors, cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, neuroendocrine diseases, etc.; 5.Patients with severe anxiety and depression, and psychiatric patients; 6.Pregnant and lactating patients; 7.Patients participating in other clinical trials; 8.Communication disorders (applicable to patients for whom cognitive therapy is intended).
