Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for CMPS Subjects 1. Meet both diagnostic criteria for cervical and shoulder myofascial pain syndrome and MPrTs; 2. Age >18 and 3 months; 4. Understand the trial, sign the informed consent form, and comply with treatment. Inclusion Criteria for Healthy Subjects 1. Age >18 and <60 years, gender; 2. No history of cervical and shoulder myofascial syndrome, and no history of persistent or recurrent pain, tenderness, muscle tension, or cord-like hardening, or restricted movement in the cervical and shoulder area; 3. No history of other diseases that may affect the function of muscles and fascia in the cervical and shoulder area, including but not limited to cervical spondylosis (e.g., cervical disc herniation, cervical osteophyte formation), periarthritis of the shoulder, rotator cuff injury, thoracic outlet syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria for CMPS Subjects 1. Patients diagnosed with acute soft tissue injuries and cervical spondylosis; 2. Patients with other diseases causing pain (e.g., rheumatic immune diseases, bone joint organic lesions, etc.); 3. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 4. Patients with skin lesions, ulcers, bleeding tendencies, or local infections at the treatment site; 5. Patients with mental illness (e.g., epilepsy, depression, etc.) who cannot cooperate; 6. Patients with severe primary diseases or systemic diseases (e.g., cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, neurological diseases, etc.); 7. Patients who have received relevant Chinese or Western medications or other treatments within the past 2 weeks; 8. Patients currently participating in other related trials; 9. Patients with a clear history of needle phobia or fear of needles. Exclusion Criteria for Healthy Subjects 1. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 2. Patients with skin lesions, ulcers, bleeding tendencies, or local infections at the treatment site; 3. Patients with mental illness (e.g., epilepsy, depression, etc.) who cannot cooperate; 4. Patients with severe primary diseases or systemic diseases (e.g., cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, neurological diseases, etc.); 5. Patients with a clear history of needle phobia or fear of needles.
