40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for Parkinson's disease (according to the Chinese Diagnostic Criteria for Parkinson's Disease, 2016 edition); 2) Aged 40–80 years, with no restriction on sex; 3) Hoehn and Yahr (H–Y) stage 1–3; 4) Stable use of anti-Parkinsonian medications for more than 30 days; 5) Voluntary participation in this study with signed informed consent; 6) Right-handed dominance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Presence of severe cognitive impairment, deafness, blindness, or other conditions that preclude cooperation with the study; 2) Presence of severe systemic diseases or acute neurological disorders; 3) Diagnosis of alcohol use disorder or opioid use disorder; 4) Contraindications to acupuncture, including skin lesions at needling sites, allergy to needle materials, or intolerance to acupuncture; 5) Receipt of acupuncture treatment within the past 30 days; 6) Current participation in other clinical studies; 7) Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 8) Contraindications to MRI, such as claustrophobia or the presence of metallic implants.
