Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the Western medical diagnostic criteria for cervical spondylosis of neck type in Expert Consensus on Classification, Diagnosis and Non-surgical Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis (2018): - Complaints of abnormal sensations such as pain in the occiput, neck, and shoulder, with corresponding tender points; - Imaging findings showing cervical degenerative changes; - Exclusion of other neck disorders or neck symptoms caused by other diseases. 2. Meet the TCM diagnostic criteria for cervical arthralgia () in Standards of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of TCM Diseases issued by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012. 3. Age between 18 and 70 years old, regardless of gender. 4. Good compliance, no language barriers, and able to independently complete scale filling and efficacy evaluation. 5. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score = 4 points. 6. No acupuncture, massage, medication, or other targeted treatments for cervical spondylosis of neck type in the past month. 7. Agree not to use other treatment methods (including oral medications, external plasters, physical therapy, etc.) on their own during the treatment period. 8. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Neck pain secondary to other diseases such as tumor, tuberculosis, fracture, or dislocation. 2. Complicated with severe internal medical diseases, including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver and kidney failure, hematological diseases, etc. 3. Patients with bleeding tendencies (such as hemophilia, leukemia, etc.) or those taking anticoagulant drugs. 4. Local skin lesions on the neck that affect acupuncture operation, including wounds, infections, ulcers, rashes, etc. 5. Patients with a history of illicit drug use or mental illness. 6. Pregnant or lactating women.
