Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for insomnia and anxiety disorders in Western medicine, and meets the diagnostic criteria for insomnia in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). (2) Aged between 18 and 65 years, inclusive. (3) Voluntarily agrees to participate in the study and signs the informed consent form. (4) No use of other Chinese or Western medications or treatment interventions within the past month. (5) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score > 10, Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA) score between 7 (inclusive) and 29, and 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) score < 7.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Coexistence of other mental disorders. (2) Coexistence of severe heart, brain, liver, kidney, or thyroid diseases. (3) Pregnant or breastfeeding women. (4) Known allergy to the investigational drug. (5) Has contraindications for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
