Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meets the diagnostic criteria of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine; 2) Aged between 45 and 65 years, with no restriction on gender; 3) Clinically in the acute phase (pain phase), with a VAS score >4; 4) Provides informed consent, willing to receive treatment, and commits to completing the entire course of treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Individuals with restricted shoulder functional activities due to rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement syndrome, or post-shoulder surgery; 2) Patients with shoulder dysfunction caused by systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, or other internal medical conditions; 3) Individuals with severe concurrent diseases of major organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys; 4) Patients with mental illness or those unable to cooperate with treatment or assessment; 5) Individuals with skin breakdown, redness, swelling, heat, or pain at the treatment site, especially if infected; 6) Participants currently involved in other studies or treatments for the same condition that may affect the efficacy of the current treatment.
