60 Years to 119 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 60 years; (2) Meets the diagnostic criteria for obesity-related sarcopenia; (3) Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation falls into one of the three syndrome types; (4) Stable body weight in the past month (fluctuation < 5 kg); (5) Simple obesity, without thyroid disease, digestive system diseases, chronic wasting diseases, or other conditions affecting body weight; (6) No regular physical exercise in the past three months (defined as at least 3 times per week, at least 20 minutes per session); (7) Voluntarily participates in this study and signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from bone, muscle, or connective tissue-related diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis; (2) Diagnosed with motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or myasthenia gravis; (3) Having severe primary diseases of the heart, brain, liver, kidney, or hematopoietic system, or malignant tumors, or severe organ failure; (4) Having had an acute infection within the past month; (5) Having implanted medical devices such as a heart stent or other conductive medical devices in the body; (6) Suffering from dementia, mania, or mental illness; (7) Diagnosed with secondary obesity; (8) Having engaged in weight loss through diet, exercise, and medication in the past two months, and not planning to lose weight through diet, exercise, or medication; (9) Currently participating in other research trials that may affect the results of this study.
