experimental group:Received a 12-week intervention program involving nostalgic board games, once a week for 90 minutes each time,
control group:The control group continued with the routine care activities provided by the day care center.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 65 years or older. 2.Diagnosed by a physician with mild cognitive impairment, defined as an MMSE score of 18–23 or a CDR score of 0.5–1. 3.No visual or hearing impairments. 4.Able to communicate and respond without difficulty in Mandarin or Taiwanese. 5.Able to complete questionnaires independently or with assistance from others. Able to ambulate independently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclude individuals diagnosed by a physician with moderate to severe dementia/disability. 2. Exclude individuals diagnosed by a physician with mental illness. 3. Exclude individuals with visual or hearing impairments. 4. Exclude individuals with speech and communication difficulties. 5. Exclude individuals who are unable to participate in activities due to physical factors.
