Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion [26]; 2) Meets the diagnostic criteria for the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine [27]; 3) Age 18 - 70 years old; 4) Patients with unilateral lower back pain; 5) Visual analogue scale (VAS) score in the McGill Pain Questionnaire (MPQ) = 4 points; 6) Meets the screening criteria of SFMA (see the SFMA screening in the treatment plan); 7) Within 2 weeks before enrollment, no relevant treatment was received; 8) Signed the informed consent form, voluntarily participated and cooperated with the researchers of this project.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with pacemaker implantation; 2) Those with severe congenital deformities such as scoliosis; 3) Those with serious pathological conditions in vital organs like the heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys; 4) Patients with coagulation dysfunction; 5) Patients with impaired consciousness and unable to complete various scale questionnaire evaluations; 6) Pregnant or lactating women; 7) Patients who are afraid of needle pricks.
