Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for stroke and dysphagia (stroke diagnosis based on the relevant standards in the "Diagnostic Criteria for Major Cerebrovascular Diseases in China 2019," and confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging or computed tomography; dysphagia diagnosis meeting the relevant standards in "Part 1: Assessment" of the "Chinese Expert Consensus on the Assessment and Treatment of Dysphagia (2017 Edition)": saliva or food flowing out of the mouth or nasal cavity, coughing or choking during eating or drinking, food remaining in the mouth for a long time without swallowing, difficulty or pain in chewing, requiring food to be moistened or assistance with swallowing); (2) Age 18-75 years; (3) Kubota Water Swallowing Test grade = II; (4) First onset, with onset time of 1-3 months; (5) Informed consent obtained from the patient and their family, and an informed consent form signed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Presence of organic lesions or tumors in the oral cavity or pharynx, or anatomical abnormalities of the esophagus; (2) Concurrent severe functional impairment of the heart, liver, kidneys, etc.; (3) Dysphagia caused by reasons other than stroke; (4) Presence of contraindications to acupuncture, or inability to tolerate acupuncture therapy; (5) Presence of cognitive impairment, mental illness, or communication difficulties that prevent cooperation with treatment; (6) Received other swallowing function rehabilitation interventions within 2 weeks prior to enrollment.
