Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer according to diagnostic criteria. 2. Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic colon cancer resection or laparoscopic Dixon procedure for rectal cancer. 3. Patients aged between 40 and 80 years old. 4. Patients with normal preoperative examination of cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, and renal functions. 5. Patients with no evidence of abdominal lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis to the liver, lungs, etc., as determined by preoperative and intraoperative examinations. 6. Patients who have been fully informed about their condition, willing to participate in this study, and have signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing abdominoperineal resection for rectal cancer (Miles procedure). 2. Patients with severe chronic diseases of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, brain, immune system, hematologic system, endocrine system, etc. 3. Patients where preoperative auxiliary examinations reveal widespread distant metastasis and extramural invasion, making complete resection impossible. 4. Patients who have undergone neoadjuvant therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or other treatments prior to surgery. 5. Patients with preoperative findings of moderate to severe anemia, or excessive intraoperative blood loss, or postoperative findings of moderate to severe anemia meeting transfusion criteria, requiring blood transfusion therapy. 6. Patients with severe malnutrition, or long-term use of immunosuppressive agents and corticosteroids. 7. Patients with poor compliance, who may arbitrarily discontinue or change treatment medications or methods during therapy. 8. Patients with mental illness or severe cognitive dysfunction. 9. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
