Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A. Participants diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), who are currently in remission after 6 weeks of treatment; B. Volunteers who have signed the informed consent form and agree to participate in this study; C. Participants with stable vital signs, clear consciousness, some ability to express themselves, and willingness to complete interview assessments; D. Participants of any gender, aged between 18 and 60 years. All of the above criteria must be met to be eligible for inclusion in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A. Those with unclear diagnoses or co-occurring other mental disorders; B. Those with other severe physical illnesses, such as cancer, hepatitis, etc.; C. Known alcohol abusers or substance-dependent individuals; D. Those diagnosed with non-depressive psychotic disorders in Western medicine; E. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
