Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for old ankle sprain in the "Clinical Practice Guidelines for Common Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics" and "Practical Orthopedics" issued by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; (2) Has a history of foot and ankle sports injuries; (3) Experiences foot and ankle joint pain or functional impairment during movement; (4) Duration of illness = 3 weeks; (5) Age between 20–50 years old; (6) Signed informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Imaging examinations showing ankle joint fractures and dislocations; complete rupture of ligaments; (2) Coagulation dysfunction; (3) Cognitive impairment or mental disorders, with poor treatment compliance; (4) Presence of infection or concurrent infectious diseases; (5) Allergy to anesthesia or contraindications for treatment; (6) Patients with hypertension, hyperglycemia, or severe primary diseases such as cardiopulmonary diseases; (7) Unable to complete follow-up; (8) Local skin ulceration of the ankle joint; (9) Patients in pregnancy or lactation.
