Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for functional constipation in Western medicine and qi stagnation constipation in traditional Chinese medicine, with a score of 50 = Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) = 69 or (and) 53 = Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) = 72; 2. Age between 18 and 75 years, gender no limit; 3. No use of any laxative drugs in the past 7 days; 4. No receipt of any physical or mechanicaltherapy for constipation in the past 7 days (e.g., acupuncture, massage/abdominal massage, enema, or use of glycerin suppositories, etc.); 5. Voluntarily cooperate with massage therapy during the trial period, follow medical advice, and be available for follow-up; 6. Understand and agree to participate voluntarily, and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Gastrointestinal organic lesions (such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal obstruction, megacolon, severe colonic diverticulosis, anal stenosis, etc.); 2. History of gastrointestinal surgery (such as colectomy, anterior resection of the rectum, analoplasty, and other major abdominal/pelvic surgeries); 3. Severe dysfunction of the liver, kidneys, or heart, or presence of abdominal/pelvic tumors; 4. Consciousness disorders, cognitive impairments, mental illness, or other reasons preventing cooperation with relevant assessments, examinations, and treatments; 5. Participation in other clinical trials within one week prior to enrollment; 6. Pregnant and breastfeeding women.
