Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for functional constipation in **Rome IV**. (2) Clinical manifestations of constipation that cannot be explained by organic, metabolic, or systemic diseases. (3) Age of the patients ranges from **18 to 80 years old**. (4) Patients provide **informed consent**, are willing to undergo relevant examinations, and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe complications, such as intestinal paralysis, intestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction, and megacolon. (2) Patients with mental illness or severe neurological deficits (e.g., aphasia, agnosia), or with suspected or confirmed alcohol or drug abuse. (3) Patients with severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, hematological or other systemic diseases. (4) Patients with a history of abdominal trauma or surgery that may cause constipation. (5) Pregnant or lactating women. (6) Patients participating in other clinical research studies at the same time.
