18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age 18-65 years, any gender;2) Meets diagnostic criteria for metabolic-associated fatty liver disease;3) 24 kg/m² = BMI = 32.5 kg/m²;4) No prior acupoint catgut embedding treatment for any reason;5) Voluntarily signs informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Metabolism related fatty liver 1) Individuals who use hepatotoxic drugs, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, pituitary insufficiency, polycystic ovary syndrome, cirrhosis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with malignant liver tumors; 2) In the past three months, there have been the following situations: weight gain or loss = 5%; Taking weight loss medication (prescription, over-the-counter, or herbal); Received acupuncture for weight loss; Participated in other weight loss projects; 3) I have undergone weight loss surgery before. 2 Health Status 1) Serious cardiovascular diseases: angina pectoris, myocardial infarction in the past 6 months, heart failure Symptomatic peripheral vascular disease; 2) Patients who have been newly diagnosed with diabetes in the past 6 months or who have adjusted hypoglycemic drugs in the past 3 months; 3) Uncontrolled thyroid disease (thyroid stimulating hormone>4.78 mIU/L or210ml/week, females>140ml/week); 3) History of drug abuse within one year; 4) History of blood donation or transfusion within one month; 5) Pregnancy or lactation, including planning to conceive within the next 3 months; 6) Allergic to absorbable surgical sutures (polyglycolic acid absorbable suture PGA); 7) According to the researcher's assessment, psychological or behavioral issues will make it difficult for them to comply with the research protocol.
